For American music tycoon Jay-Z, who has bragged having "1,000,000 different ways to bring in cash" it would appear that it might now be "on to the following one".

French extravagance monster LVMH has bought a half stake in his Armand de Brignac champagne brand, known to devotees of his music by its "Trump card" moniker. 


Marked with a trump card and smooth metallic containers, the beverage can cost many pounds a jug or more. 


The rapper, whose given name is Shawn Carter, has claimed the brand since 2014. 


Made at a French winemaking house with establishes during the 1600s, Armand de Brignac has been the bubbly of decision for certain games title festivities in the US and won awards at global taste testing rivalries. 


The brand sold 900,000 jugs in 2019, preceding the pandemic hit champagne deals. 


In reporting the arrangement, Jay-Z said the organization with LVMH, which claims other set up champagne names like Dom Perignon and Veuve Cliquot, would assist the brand with developing.
