Seven dead in Nigerian military plane crash, says air force

Lagos, Nigeria Seven individuals were killed when a Nigerian military plane smashed on way to deal with Abuja air terminal on Sunday, a representative for Nigeria's Air Force said. 


"Each of the 7 staff on board kicked the bucket in the accident," Air Vice Marshal Ibikunle Daramola said on Twitter. 
He added that the Chief of the Air Staff has requested a prompt examination concerning the occurrence. 
"A military airplane King Air 350 has recently slammed shy of our Abuja runway subsequent to detailing motor disappointment enroute [to] Minna. It gives off an impression of being deadly," said the country's flight serve, Hadi Sirika, affirming the occurrence in an explanation.

In a subsequent correspondence Sunday evening, a representative at the Ministry of Aviation, James Odaudu, said the "airplane detailed motor disappointment at time 10:39 and slammed arrived on the last methodology way of Abuja Runway 22 at time 10:48UTC." 
Odaudu said firemen have been sent to the scene to put out a seething burst that had overwhelmed the plane. 
A flying laborer who requested that not be named - refering to absence of true leeway to converse with the press - disclosed to CNN that he saw the accident. 
"The accident happened not a long way from the runway. The pilot had a go at getting back to the runway in the wake of taking off," he said. 
The specialist said the pilot turned the plane to its accident site which is in a forlorn zone. He said the airplane barely maintained a strategic distance from distribution centers and stopgap settlements around the Nnamdi Azikwe International air terminal.
